The Vintage oF Our Life: Tioman Island Trip [11-13 of July 09] Hubby's Birthday

11th July 09

2.30 am.Yes, near midnight that was the time that me and hubby woke up that day.Some of them did not even slept.We are forced to wake up so early to make sure that we can reach Mersing Jetty on time.Plus, hubby need to fetch Eric Lau and Yee Ching together to Weng Hong's house.We went back to hubby's house to guide Vincent and Thim along.Vincent parked his car at Weng Hong's house then 2 cars all the way to Mersing Jetty.Hubby's Civic 18 and Weng Hong's Myvi 1111.Do not need me to mention the difference between this two cars.Me, Hubby, Vincent and Thim in Hubby's car while Eng Hoe, Eric, Yee Ching in Weng Hong's car.We started our journey to Mersing Jetty together but Hubby turned into a wrong junction when we suppose to exit to the highway to Johor.We got lost for about half an hour and ended up near midvalley.Finally we make it back to the right highway.But we have to catch back with Weng Hong's car that was way far from us.They even passed Melacca when we called them.So, this was the time for hubby to breaks and creates his speed record.We reached Melacca in half an hour.Can anyone imagine how fast.Hubby even over take Weng Hong.We stopped at a rest station and had our breakfast there.Then Vincent switched place with Hubby and he fetched us all the way to Kluang.I slept on Hubby's lap all the way there.Hubby's turn to drive Mersing Jetty.All thanks to my GPS that really works well during that journey although it cheated on us at first.At least it will know how to ask Hubby to slow down the speed of the car.After 5hours+ of driving we reached there much more earlier than what we thought and we got onto the ferry at 10.00am.One 1/2 hours on the ferry, big waves and wavy ferry just like sleeping in a cradle...At last we saw Tioman Island from far but it was about 1/2 hour more to finally reach there.So, the image that we see on the sea will only increases it size by a few cm over a few minutes of time.Conclusion, do not go to any island by ferry.WARNING!Do take in consider...Got of from the ferry here go my precious cake for Hubby's birthday lying on the floor.I hates wind from that day onwards.It is a quadruple layers cake, botom layer-cookies and butter base, third layer-chocolate cheese cake, second layer-strawberry, top layer-cheese cake with some mini size grape on top.It took me one day to freeze that cake layer by layer with the best ingredients and my patience mummy that fetched me ups and downs to find dry ice to keep that cake from melting when on the way to Tioman.But it ended up in the dustbin at the Tioman Jetty.I did not blame Yee Ching but i did blamed the STUPID WIND!!!I am so so sad and that was my feeling even now i can feel the sadness.haiz....We stayed at Berjaya Resort & Spa Hotel.Checked in [Room no.319, 320, 321]and we went for lunch at Sri Nelayan Restaurant before heading to the BEACH!!Nap time for Hubby, Me, Vincent and Thim.While others went out to explore.Went for a bicycle learning trip with my hubby and at last i know how to ride a bicycle.Steamboat for dinner in Vincent and Thim's room.Continue with The Pig Game introduced by Weng Hong.The loser can choose to drink either Hennessy or Vodka mix with Coke.

12th July 09

Woke up by Weng Hong telling us that we will be late for Snorkelling if we do not get out from the bed immediately..Rained heavily last night caused the a dimmy nor cooling weather.Due to the unpleasant weather our snorkelling trip was postpone till after 1.00pm.Had our buffet breakfast at Sri Nelayan before heading to the Lobby for snorkelling registration.Before we get to go for snorkelling, we went to visit some baby turtle to kill time.We discovered an enhanced seaside there and we got down for a swim.Much clearer and colder sea water.It even tasted saltier for me.After that, me and Hubby went for jet skiing and the others went for the snorkelling trip.Almost shouted my lungs out during jet skiing with Hubby.It is really a heart pumping activity for me.You will never know what were there beneath the sea water.But it was really fun.The best thing was we are having some quality couple time together^^Rested~Went for some after lunch meal at a Malay unique restaurant as everyone were starving.All of us are head to toe tired and frustrated therefore sleepz are needed desperately.By the time when I'm awake, the sun was no more in the sky.Quickly got ourselves up and went out for dinner.Luckily enough, we found a driver to fetch us out of the hotel to get some chinese dishes.Great food and affordable price.Souvenier time~Went to some nearby souvenier shops to buy souvenier of course.During that, I got an idea of getting some ice cream as hubby's bday cake since my cake has been destroyed.Sob sob~Went back to the hotel room and again the same routines, 'The Pig game' plus liquors of course.Half way during the game Eric pretended wanting to vomit however this was just to trick hubby as they were taking the so call 'cake' out for hubby.Happy Birthday!!C=Drunker~~~~Hubby cant even walk properly up the stairs..and still saying that 'I'm not drunk'.Yea right~~

The last day~Really don't feel like going home at this time.Time really passes much quicker than we though.Firstly in the morning, breakfast of course.After that, for the last time we went for swimming in Tioman Island.Back to the room to pack up and got back to the jetty.Our ferry came late.So, we went to buy liquorz cheap though.1 1/2 hours again to get back to Mersing Jetty.The worst ferry ever...Will never ever go to any island by ferry again.Back to Kl!!
